Entry flexibility for foreign couples not married to EU citizens
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with the Ministry of the Interior have recently approved a measure to make entry into Spain more flexible.
Well, if you are a citizen from outside the European Union in relation to a community citizen, even if you are not yet officially married, you can now enter Spain without problem.
You simply have to follow a specific procedure to get a certificate mobile number list at the Spanish consulate, after sending the necessary documentation.
You can find here all the information and requirements to meet to enter Spain as a non-EU couple .
Are the immigration or police offices open?
Some of them.
You can still formalize some of the procedures and attend the relevant police or immigration office as long as you have a prior appointment . We have clients who without a prior appointment have been able to carry out the procedure but we do not recommend it.
But not all procedures.
For example, you can collect your residence card. But you will have to check which office you should go to do it, since it is very likely that some of them are closed in your city and there is only one open.
For example, in Barcelona, only the office at Rambla Guipúzcoa 74 is open.
On the other hand, in some cases you can make the prints : if you have a real need to do so. For example, if you need your card for work reasons.
