Spark The Electric Jester
Konami is following up its mega-hit Sonic the Hedgehog with its first original IP, Spark the jester. It has a pretty unique premise, and it appears that the new IP is doing a fine job so far. It's not an exaggeration to say that it's better than Sonic, and one could even say that it's better than the Wii & DS version.
I first started playing the game when I was young, and I remember loving the idea of an electric jester who would try to save the day by blasting robots. The original concept was strong, but the opening level felt a bit underwhelming. Thankfully, the game soon picks up and can then be enjoyed for a while. I haven't played the first level for long, but I can already see some welcome improvements.
The new jester has a new play style, and his gameplay is also very different from those of Sonic, Mega Man and Kirby. With the addition of the new jester, the game has two heroes to play as.
In terms of controls, it feels like a combo of the double jump of Sonic and the dash of Kirby (although the jester is not as fast as either of those), with the dash-jumping allowing the player to get up to higher places. It's a small change, but it's there and it feels good.
The Spark the Electric Jester Kickstarter is seeking funds to create a 128-bit engine to power the title, with the aim to release in Fall 2015. The team intends to drop a demo with music and gameplay to excite the game's backers, while they work on the engine. They also intend to support PC, Mac, Linux and Android.
Spark the electric jester has a development update. He's not only capable of jumping through space and time, he's also able to do so on a non-linear path, and as you can see in his trailer, that can really take off.
Spark does some quick repairs to the Tower of Eos, and Romalo takes off in his jet, saying that he'll be in touch. Spark heads back to the Freeskyman, and arrives to find that he got a blow to the back of his head by Romalo. He also gets the Invader Virus, and is infected with it. He then goes to a hospital, where he meets up with Fark, who tells him to tell the world about Freom, and let him kill off the monster, which he does. He then goes to the television, and talks to the audience about a soap opera that he was watching. It's later revealed that he's a jester, and that he wants to become the King of the world.
If another hacker does this, then they will be able to put any game on the ps3 in a matter of minutes! and that means that Sony will be out of the console market for good. We have seen what happens when sony doesn't support games anymore. Nintendo is turning a profit, now it is time for Sony to do the same, or else they are dead.
I don't see the appeal of owning a Sony PS3, and I don't see the value of the PS3 as an entertainment device. Sony has become one of the most untrustworthy companies in the gaming industry in my eyes. 827ec27edc
